The OraQuick® HIV Self-Test is a single-use, qualitative immunoassay to detect antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) and Type 2 (HIV-2) in Oral Fluid specimens for individual self-testing. OraQuick is an Oral swab-based HIV Self-Test that does not require blood. It works by detecting your body’s natural defenders (antibodies) that help to fight infection and it intended for use privately and confidentially. Sensitivity: 100% Specificity: 99.8% Specimen type: Oral fluid Time to result: 20 minutes CONTENTS A pouch with a test kit, test stand and instructions. The test kit contains two smaller pouches with a tube and the testing device.
